Wrapped in Blue

Happy hump day nerdly beautifuls! Lately I've been wearing mostly whites, blacks, and greys, and although I love dressing minimally, I noticed that it wasn't my closet lacking color, it was more so me not being daring enough on most days to wear colorful items. In an attempt to breakout of that mindset, I paired an old denim blouse with a stripped full midi skirt. I'm particularly proud of how this outfit came together, here's to taking more risks with my wardrobe :D

Denim Shirt - H & M (old)
Midi Skirt - Zara
Black Clutch - Express
Black Flats - Just Fab
Watch - Olivia Burton

  1. One of my favorite thing about outfits posts on your blog is reminiscing about the time we spent together shooting, lol. So many shenanigans. "Kim, where are we going?" I also love the fact that while we were at Target, an old lady thought you were Michelle Obama! Seriously the cutest thing I've ever witnessed! Love this look, boo! You bring color into my life <3

  2. Nice outfit. Still a lot of black in the whole setup though (just saying). So what's your take on slippers. I don't really like ladies in slippers.

    1. Just curious... are you expecting ladies to always be traipsing around in heels? Have you ever put on a pair of those? I love the way they look, but they're not fun to wear 24/7, bro. I think Nini does a good job of picking comfortable, classy shoes and styling them in a way that keeps them interesting. Too often we see fashion bloggers stomping around in towering, impractical footwear, but she keeps it 100.

  3. Don't get me wrong ma'am. I'm not talking bout flats and heels and certainly not criticising her. I said slippers and I have a thing against sandals too. Maybe people around here don't wear them right I'm just asking for her input.

    1. With everything really, it's all about how you wear/style it. I have nothing against slippers.
