Ornate Gems
Statement Necklace & Bag- Forever 21 || Oxfords - Aldo || Dress - Asos
***
Do you ever get inspired to pull a color palette together based on one item? Well, that is precisely how this outfit got assembled! I recently purchased this statement necklace from Forever 21 after being drawn by its use of pastels, maroon and faux gems. I love that it seamlessly ties in with this dress and several pieces in my closet! With Spring just around the corner, I can't wait to style it with lighter clothing as I'm starting to put away all things winter.
Hope your week has been off to a creative start!

Chloe + Isabel
Hello my nerdly beautifuls! The other day I got to meet the lovely Chavel (a Chloe and Isabel Merchandiser), and she was kind enough to let Kimmy and I play around with some of her beautiful pieces. I have to say I was initially hesitant about finding pieces to work with this outfit but she had it all! From spring-inspired necklaces and earrings sets, to hair-pins. It was a match made in Heaven! I especially love how well Kim and I's outfits complemented each other (unplanned, btw) and seamlessly fell into a Bohemian theme - what were the odds?!
Check out other goodies by Chavel here!

It's Print | It's Lace
Patterned Blazer - Forever 21 / Buttoned-up Lace Shirt - Zara / Black Joggers - New Look / Oxfords - Aldo / Bag - Forever 21
Just put the kettle on, about to make some peppermint tea - how good it feels to be back! As much as I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, reconnecting with old friends, and engaging in new ventures, nothing replaces staying on track with daily routines, carving out time to recuperate and being back home - which is what Seattle is finally starting to feel like. (:
This outfit was in accordance with being more daring with my outfit selections. The buttoned-up shirt I have on is made out of the most gentle lace! I love the femininity it lends to the patterned blazer, and how well they complement each other.
Also, I can't believe it is already March, where did February go!? I'm yet to set out detailed goals for the month but basically top of mind is to be more present, positive and grateful. I have so much to be thankful for - we all do really when we put our problems aside and avoid comparing ourselves to others. What are some of your goals for the new month?
(pc: The lovely Kimmy)

Wrapped in Blue
Happy hump day nerdly beautifuls! Lately I've been wearing mostly whites, blacks, and greys, and although I love dressing minimally, I noticed that it wasn't my closet lacking color, it was more so me not being daring enough on most days to wear colorful items. In an attempt to breakout of that mindset, I paired an old denim blouse with a stripped full midi skirt. I'm particularly proud of how this outfit came together, here's to taking more risks with my wardrobe :D

That Pink Smoothie (Strawberries & Beet)
Hello my nerdly beautifuls!
Lately, I've been struggling to eat healthier and have been paying more attention to how what I eat affects my body which has consequently made me make a few changes to my diet, starting with having smoothies for breakfast, eating less carbs, more veggies and more proteins! See I've known this formula for a while now, sticking to it is the difficult part for me. But you know what they say - Never stop starting because one day you'll wake up and find out that you've finished. So for the umpteenth time, here goes...
I'm also hoping that sharing some of my favorite recipes with you guys will help keep me accountable, and in the spirit of Valentine's Day, I'm starting this series off with a delicious and filling pink smoothie! :D
Level/Type: Easy/Breakfast/Smoothie
Yield: 4 cups
Prep: 10 mins
Blend Time: 5 mins
Total: 15 mins
INGREDIENTS
1 cup strawberries
1 avocado
1 lemon (squeezed)
1/2 cucumber (or 6 slices)
3 slices of beet (a small beet - some people steam the beet first, but I didn't because my blender could handle it :) )
1 apple
4 large ice cubes
1 cup water
PROCEDURE: Add all the ingredients into the blender, and blend on high until the mix is smooth. If you want it sweeter, feel free to add another apple or a liquid sweetener.
And, that's it! Please let me know if you have any questions OR more suggestions on smoothies I could try out! I'm all ears (or eyes, I should say ;) ).
Bon Appetit,

The Chunky Jumper Dress
Hello my nerdly beautifuls! Last week, I was in a relatively "lazy" mood in regards to dressing up. Not in a negative way (you gotta keep the mood swings stylish!), but I loved being able to throw things on and be on the go and this jumper dress from H&M helped me do just that! It is literally the perfect length, very comfortable and warm - kept me cozy all day!
Thank you so much for reading! Hope you're having a lovely week thus far. Xx

Throwback Thursday - A Beautiful Wedding Ft My Beautiful Sisters!
Hello my nerdly beautifuls!
Continuing on with my pretty dresses obsession phase/post playing around dresses on Weddington Way, I couldn't help but throwback to last summer in Puerto Rico! I was there for a friend's absolutely beautiful wedding! I didn't actually wear white to the wedding, (I wouldn't dare, haha) wore this dress to the all white beach party the night before.
I cherish moments my sisters and I get to dress up, take pictures, crack up at inside jokes and party all night (we literally did dance all night!). Looking forward to our next reunion!
How adorable are they!!?? <3
